The blockade and attacks that Israel has imposed on Gaza since March 2 are making life harder for civilians every day.

Civilians who survived air and land attacks are tested by thirst and hunger while continuing their nomadic lives.

In this context, children are most affected by this crisis.

4-YEAR-OLD CHILD DIED OF STARVATION

Having been unable to access food for a long time due to Israel’s blocking of aid, 4-year-old Muhammed Mustafa Yasin lost his life.

Speaking to the press at Yasin’s body, Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza, said , “This is one of the children who died as a result of Israel’s hunger policy. Yasin, a resident of Gaza City, was starved to death.”

CALL TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY

Basal said Yasin was not the first child to die of starvation in Gaza, and warned that many more children would die this way as long as food and drink were not allowed into Gaza.

“IF ACTION IS NOT TAKEN, MORE YASINS WILL DIE”

“This child needed to live, grow up and be happy, but Israel deprived him of this. Therefore, the international community and organizations and those with an ounce of humanity left in them need to take action to end this torture,” said Basal, adding that if action was not taken, more “Yasins” would die.

326 PALESTINIANS LOST THEIR LIVES IN 80 DAYS

On the other hand, the Palestinian Government in Gaza announced that 326 Palestinians lost their lives in 80 days due to Israel’s systematic starvation policy.

The office announced that during the 80-day siege, 58 people died from malnutrition, 242 from lack of food and medicine, 26 kidney patients from inadequate health care, and more than 300 miscarriages were recorded.
